So why would you only want someone to take snapshots through-out your day?

Macro Ring Shots / Orlando Wedding Photographer

Okay, so I have always thought that I got some great ring shots along the way. Earlier this year when I was shooting Canon, I purchased a 100mm Macro and found it to be a nice lens only used it once and it stayed in the bag. Well I have always great things about Nikon’s Macro lenses since they kick-butt in the world of microscopes. Well I received my new Micro (Nikon calls it Micro, not Macro) and I got a chance to give it a little workout today. Here is the result!

Moments ago I booked an absolutely beautiful bride for May of next year and while she was here, she allowed me to photograph her gorgeous engagement ring. I LOVE this lens!!!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of working with a family from Georgia. I met the parents at a wedding workshop that I was helping manage last year and we hit it off. Unfortunately, they were ripped off by some scumbag and all of their camera gear (along with other items) were stolen from their home. At the beginning of the this they contacted me about their daughter Randi and wanted to know if I would be available to photograph there daughter’s senior portraits.

It really said a lot about my work and our friendship when they told me that they would drive down from Georgia just so I could be the one to photograph their beautiful daughter. They arrived into town on Thursday evening and went out for dinner to catch up. Then Saturday afternoon, they came by the studio for some studio photos (will post later) and then we headed out to my uncle’s house in Ocoee, FL as they wanted something a little country. We got some AMAZING stuff out at my uncle’s, though we did have to dodge some cow-patties in the pasture, I think it was worth it! After we finished workin’ on the farm, we headed out to Winter Park for a little more city work… Well, more to come but I did want to post at least one shot from the farm.

Well, I have to get at least one teaser up from a wedding on the 27th of June. I have been editing like a madman but had to stop to post at least a single image. Jon emailed me today and told me they were back from their honeymoon and was eager to see the photos. So Jon, this ones for you!
