Thank you for visiting Mike + Lauren's blog. Mike + Lauren is a husband and wife photography team. We specialize in high-fashion, glamor stylized wedding photography. We believe in being a photojournalist at weddings, however this is your once in a lifetime moment to splurge on everything from hair and make-up to flowers and your beautiful dress. So why would you only want someone to take snapshots through-out your day?

On your wedding day we are going to stay out of the way but if we think the photos will be much improved by asking you to step closer to a window, we will. It's all about making you looking as beautiful as possible.

What a fantastic session! Lauren and I drove out to a somewhat new location for us, this particular location was only used once for a model session and when Jose contacted us and said they wanted a beach session, we knew exactly where to go! The clouds rolled in and created some VERY dramatic backgrounds for us! We had a great time out at the beach photographing this awesome couple and we can’t wait for their wedding next year!

Orlando Wedding Photographer . Slideshows

Well we purchased this program a couple years ago and we never really put it into place. To be honest, it always seemed a bit much to get the images to move with music but with a little research, we figured it out. Now this is our first slideshow so we might need a little tweaking but we think it is a pretty sweet way to show-off our clients images, don’t you?!

You will probably recognize this couple from a past wedding, Heather & Steve’s wedding. When we were deciding where to take their engagement photos, we had a few ideas but two days before the session, Lauren and I found this amazing location and when we told Kate and Tim about it, they seemed really excited. Now, we had NO idea that Kate and Tim were into the country seen, though I did see a few pics on their facebook page that showed them on horses. When they showed up with boots, we knew we picked the perfect location for this session!

Lauren and I had a blast every moment of this engagement session. We laughed with them and talked about how Lauren and I met and how they met. Their story of how they got engaged was awesome! Horses and cliff in the mountains of Tennessee, are you kidding me?!?! lol We are SO excited for their wedding coming up in October, it will be the first wedding we have after we return from England for our international destination wedding.

Kate and Tim, Lauren and I thank you both for embracing our idea and trusting in us. We think we capture our all time favorite engagement images and we are so proud to show them!
